Stay Informed with Cobb Schools Updates on COVID-19

We understand our community's concerns regarding the potential impact of COVID-19 and want to keep our school families updated on how Cobb Schools is responding. We also want our school community to have access to the most updated and reliable information. As always, our top priority is the safety and health of our students and staff.

Updates from the District

On Monday, June 29th, Governor Brian Kemp issued an executive order which renewed the public health state of emergency in the state of Georgia. In addition, Governor Kemp has requested the State Board of Education to provide "rules, regulations, and guidance for the operation of public elementary and secondary schools for local boards of education."

Cobb staff is reviewing the details in the Governor's Executive Order, will review updated guidance once received from the State Board of Education, and will update back-to-school details and content, including this podcast, accordingly.

Thank you for your patience and continued partnership with the Cobb County School District during this unpredictable time.

Academic Resources

The COVID-19 pandemic and closure of all Cobb schools has profoundly impacted the daily lives of all our students, teachers, and families. During this unpredictable time, teaching and learning will obviously look different than it did before but we'll continue to provide academic, emotional, and social support for student needs for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year.
