Our Vision includes promoting reading by selecting a wide variety of reading topics at many different reading levels. We want students to have successful and rewarding reading experiences. Research indicates that students who read for pleasure consistently perform better in school than their peers who are not pleasure readers.

New this year! Discovery Video Streaming now has to be accessed through the Cobb Digital Library. You no longer need a username and password.

Summer Reading

Relax, play, and have fun this summer. Keep reading, too! By reading 20+ minutes a day, students avoid the "summer academic slide" and maintain or advance academic gains. To support summer reading and learning, The Cobb County School District's Library Media Education Department, in conjunction with the Cobb County Public Library, Smyrna Public Library, and Marietta City Schools, challenges all students to read 1,500 minutes this summer. Log your 2019 minutes in Biblionasium using your student number and computer password.
