Blended Learning Participation

The Cobb County School District utilizes the Blackboard Learning Management System to deliver whole course instruction as well as provide blended learning course shells to interested teachers.

A course template is a blank course that you can populate with your own material. A course template is copied to create individual courses (Algebra I, English Literature, etc.) Every course shell includes a basic orientation to assist students navigating the online learning space.

Ready to Use Blackboard with Students

If you are familiar with Blackboard and wish to receive a course shell:

1.  Send an email to ehighschool@cobbk12.org requesting a Blackboard course be created for your class..  In the body of the e-mail include teacher name, school, course title, request to create a course, and a summary of where you have used Blackboard previously.

2.  eHigh School will create a course,  enroll you as instructor,  and notify you via e-mail.  You can now customize your online course.

3. Once you are ready to enroll students in the course, open the Student Information spreadsheet and complete the student enrollment information. All information must be filled out on this form.  Email the form to ehighschool@cobbk12.org.

4. Once we receive the completed spreadsheet, eHigh School will add the students to Blackboard and enroll them in your class. We will send you an e-mail notifying you when the process is complete.

5.  You are ready to engage your students using blended learning.
