About Dr. Beasley

Administrative Assistant, Kristin ErbskornEmail Dr. Beasley

I am extremely excited to be named as an assistant principal at East Side for the 2017-2018 school year. I am looking forward to meeting the students, staff, families, and all community members.

My passion for education has been shaped throughout my 14 years as an educator in the Cobb County School District. I taught 1st grade, was an academic coach at Dowell Elementary School, and have just finished my 5th year as an assistant principal at Powers Ferry Elementary School.

I am proud to say that I am a graduate of Cobb County Schools! I attended Still Elementary School, Dowell Elementary School, Tapp Middle School, and McEachern High school. I have earned 4 degrees from Kennesaw State University. I have a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, a master’s degree in education leadership, a specialist degree in instructional technology, and a doctorate degree in instructional technology. Go Owls!

My husband Gavin and I have been married for 12 years. We just lost both of our beloved dogs within the last 7 months and are looking forward to being pet owners again soon. We enjoy hanging out with friends and family, being at the lake or beach, and watching the Georgia Bulldogs play football.

I am eager to learn about all of the wonderful things that are happening at East Side. I look forward to meeting everyone soon and am honored to be placed in this position.
