Cobb County School District InTouch Information
InTouch Autodialer
The Cobb County School District uses the InTouch Autodialer to communicate with parents regarding
events such as school socials, testing, etc., emergencies, and daily student absentee notification.
We have
recently implemented an Excessive Absence Notification module into the Intouch Autodialer. The purpose
of this module is to notify parents via a phone call, email and/or letter regarding their students’
accumulation of “Excessive Absence” days. Excessive Absence occur when a student has reached, 5,
7, 10, 12 or 15 days of absence during a school year. The consequences can result in teacher or administrator
contact with the parent(s), through loss of student driving privileges and social worker contact to parental fines.
