School Council News


Griffin's School Council is comprised of school administration, teacher leaders, community members, parents, and business partners. The goal of the school council is to assist in guiding the Griffin Middle School efforts in a direction that will help us see our Strategic Plan come to fruition. If you are interested in the inner-workings of the school and the guidance of our school council, please read on!!


Mission

The mission of the Griffin Middle School Council is to serve in an advisory role, offering assistance with identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing school improvement options. The School Council’s role is to bring school communities closer together in a spirit of collaboration to improve academic achievement, address educational challenges, provide support for teachers and administrators, and bring parents into the school-based decision-making process.

2018-2019 Meeting Dates

Meeting Location: Principal's Conference Room, GMS.

All meetings are at 8:15 a.m. on the first Monday of each month (with the exception of school breaks).
