EMPLOYEES!
When should you complete
an application versus an employee change form?
The Employee Change Form is for Cobb County School
District employees only and is a simplified format of
applying in certain situations when a complete
application is not needed.
EMPLOYEE CHANGE FORM:
The Employee Change Form should be used when you are
requesting and have met the criteria for a transfer or
have been notified that you are a reassignee. Do not use
this form for administrative requests.
Temporary Employees should complete the
full employment application, not the Employee
Change Form. Temporary employee groups include, but not
limited to:
• Substitutes
(Teachers, Bus Drivers, Food & Nutrition Service
Workers)
• After School Program (ASP)
Staff
• Lunchroom Monitors
• Supply Teachers
• Temporary Clerical/Seasonal
Employees
• Tutors (ESOL, AVID, etc.)
• Facility Use Supervisors
• Adult Ed Teachers
• Interpreters
• Foundation Instructors
EMPLOYMENT APPLICATION:
Certified Employees: An application should be submitted
if you are applying for a leadership position
(Administrative application) or if you are applying for
an upgraded position. An application should also be
submitted if you are interested in adding an additional
position to your current job, i.e. Teacher applying for
After School Program.
Classified Employees: An application should be submitted
if you are applying for a different type of position or
an upgraded position, i.e. Custodian to
Paraprofessional, Food Service to Clerical OR if you are
interested in adding an additional position to your
current job, i.e. Lunchroom Monitor applying for After
School Program.
WHEN COMPLETING EITHER THE EMPLOYEE CHANGE FORM OR THE
EMPLOYMENT APPLICATION, PLEASE INCLUDE ALL PRIOR WORK
EXPERIENCE, INCLUDING YOUR CURRENT POSITION IN COBB.
