Cobb Fifth Graders Make Gains
On Writing Test
Cobb County fifth graders showed strong improvement on the 2008 Georgia writing assessment, increasing both the percentage of students meeting or exceeding standards, and their scale scores. Eighty-one percent of fifth graders in the Cobb County School District met or exceeded standards, a three-percent improvement from 2007. Read the full release.
