 <title>Shop with a Longhorn</title>
 <link>http://www.cobbk12.org/kell</link>
 <description>
Shop With a Longhorn is Kell's annual holiday program that encourages Kell students to help less fortunate students and their families. The students are identified by counselors and come from Kell's five feeder elementary schools.</item>
Each student is given the opportunity to shop for gifts, participate in some holiday activities, and enjoy some holiday treats. The students are also provided with a bag of groceries with breakfast and lunch items for the holidays.
We will begin to collect food this month and continue through December. We are asking for specific food items to include in the food bags this year so that everyone gets the same items. In October, we want to "Scare Up Some Breakfast". Collection bins will be available near the front office until October 14th. Please bring your donations of boxed cereal, oatmeal, pancake mix (add water only), and syrup. No glass containers, please!
