Anime Club

The Kell H.S. Anime club was created for three purposes: 1.) to establish a community for aficionados of anime or Japanese animation. 2.) to provide a creative outlet for anime artists and writers at KHS. 3.) to foster an appreciation of Japanese popular culture. Cultural/Interest All Students are Welcome. Mondays from 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm in Media Center or Mrs. Bundschu's Room, Room 2209 (varies during the school year).
BETA Club

Beta is an Honor society that celebrates academic achievement, volunteer service and leadership. Service, Leadership, Academic Sophomores (2nd Semester) or upper with a GPA of 3.5 or higher and teacher recommendation (all academic teachers for the year) Last Tuesday of each Month at either 7:40 am or 3:40 pm in room 2212.
Black Student Union

Math Team

The Mission of the Kell Math Team is to promote the enjoyment of advanced and challenging mathematics by providing students with experiences that enrich the development of advanced problem solving methods. Academic Open to all students: Varsity – any student enrolled in Advanced Algebra or higher, JV – 9th and 10th graders not enrolled in a course higher than Advanced Algebra. Wednesdays from 3:30 pm -4:30 pm, Varsity meets in room 1215, JV meets in room 1204.
Model United Nations

Model United Nations is a simulation of the United Nations that aims to educate participants about multilateral diplomacy and the processes of the United Nations in General. Students take on roles as delegates of different countries. They research the positions of their country, become the representative of that country to a particular committee, investigate international issues, debate, deliberate, consult and then develop solutions, or resolutions, to solve world problems. Academic Open to all Students. Every Wednesday @ 3:30 pm in room 2302.
Mu Alpha Theta

Mu Alpha Theta is a Mathematics Honor Society whose Mission is to promote mathematics positively throughout the school. Academic Open to students with a 3.0 GPA in math and at least 2 years of high school math credit. Monday afternoons once a month at 3:30 p.m. in Room 1221.
National Art Honor Society (NAHS)

We are mainly involved in finding ways to provide service for the school and the community. Service, Leadership, Academic, Citizenship Open to Juniors with 3.85 or greater and Seniors with 3.75 or greater with 3 teacher references. Applicants are required to have at least one example of a leadership position over more than just 1 meeting. At least 10 hours service and must be a member of other organizations. Meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:45 am or 3:40 pm in room 2205.
National Social Studies Honor Society Rho Kappa

Recognize excellence in social studies while promoting an interest in, an understanding of, and appreciation for social studies. Academic, Citizenship, Leadership Rho Kappa is open to all juniors and seniors with 3.00 GPA in their social studies courses and an overal GPA of at least 3.5. LASSO
