Use of Computers
Library computers are provided for school assignments. Individual students may use the computers any time during library hours, except when they are reserved for use by a class. All patrons must abide by the school district's policies and regulations regarding the use of technology.
Students may check out books for a three-week period. Checkouts may be renewed as needed. Reference books may be checked out at the end of the school day for overnight use and must be returned before the start of the next school day. Students may not check out additional items until all overdue materials are cleared.
Fiction and non-fiction books that are not returned by the due date incur a fine of $.10 per day; overdue reference books are fined at $.50 per day.
Students are charged $.10 per page for black and white printing and $.50 per page for color printing; Media Center staff must release jobs sent to the color printer. Learn how to save on color printing by sending some pages of a document to the black and white printer and only the pages with color to the LexC790 printer, or by using the Print on Both Sides option for the media center's color printer. Students who are visiting the media center with their class are not charged for black and white printing to fulfill the class assignment, during their class visit.
