FY2009 Preliminary Allotments
The preliminary library media materials allotments have been loaded, and
library media specialists can view their allotment by logging in to the
CCSD Financial Portal.
In most cases, the amount of the preliminary allotment is the same as the
previous year's final allotment.
Important Reminders
- Your schools allotment will change. This year's final
allotment amount will be determined based on the fall FTE count, and this
adjustment will be made by early November.
- Schools should NOT spend more than 60% of their preliminary
allotment before the final adjustments are made in November.
This is especially important for schools that might suffer a significant
loss in student enrollment this year.
- When budgeting your allotment for they year, be sure to account for Cobb
Virtual Library subscription costs (fall) and magazine orders (spring).
