Another academic year is off to a great start! Students have met the teachers, introduced to the curriculum and have been given explicit instruction about behavior expectations.
Let's work together to ensure students stay focused.
We know it is hot, but remember dress code is strickly enforced. No short skirts or short shorts. Enforcing the dress code before they leave for school helps your student focus on more important matters while at school.
Parents, remind your student the importance of turning in ALL work. Class work and home work are weighted very heavily. We understand the transition from being one of 25 in an elementary classroom to one of 170 is tough for parents and students alike. Students must learn to self manage and take responsibility for thier learning. Please feel free to contact us through our emails and blogs.
