Now that the weather is warming students want to dress more casually. Please keep in mind that dress code is strickly enforced. Enforcing the dress code before they leave for school helps your student focus on more important matters while at school. Students may wear any coat to school, but it must go in the locker once they arrive.
Parents, remind your student the importance of turning in ALL work. Class work and home work are weighted very heavily. We understand the transition from being one of 25 in an elementary classroom to one of 170 is tough for parents and students alike. Students must learn to self manage and take responsibility for thier learning. Please feel free to contact us through our emails and blogs.

result of the transition to the Common Core Georgia Performance Standards (CCGPS)
in the content areas of Reading, English Language Arts, and Mathematics.
