Relay for Life
The
Lovinggood Relay for Life team is in need of donations
of soft drinks and chips for the Relay for Life event on
May 11, 2012. Donations of 12-packs of Coca-Cola, Coke
Zero, Diet Coke and Sprite as well as variety snack size
multi-packs of chips can be dropped off in Ms. Johnson's
room (339) or Ms. Ballew's room (340) by May 8th. These
will be used in our fund raising efforts at the event.
We appreciate your support in helping us fight cancer
and celebrate more birthdays!

Year for school year 2012-2013!
Yearbook Applications
The yearbook
application process will begin the week of March 5, 2012.
Students will be informed of the process during their ELA
classes sometime that week. As a part of the application
process, each candidate is required to have two teacher
recommendations completed. One of those must be their ELA
teacher, the other must be from a second academic teacher.
Applications and recommendations are due on or before
4/17/12.

Math Now!
Math Now! afternoon tutoring sessions will
continue through March, 2012. 6th grade students meet on
Mondays, 8th grade on Tuesdays, and 7th Grade on Wednesdays.
Each session runs from 4:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. The
program is offered to students at no cost to parents.
However, students must register to attend. All students
should be picked up at 5:30 p.m. on tutoring days. There
are no provisions for supervision after 5:30. If you have

More Math Now!
Need help with your math homework?
Don't understand a math
concept presented in class? Need to study for a test? Never
fear...Math Now! is here. Any student who needs help with math
is invited to come to room 149 any Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or
Friday morning. Teachers will be available to assist students
from 8:15 a.m. till 9:00 a.m. No pass is needed.
