 A
bus full of education, business, and community leaders from
across the state visited LaBelle Elementary School on Tuesday,
Sept. 26 as part of the Education Bus Trip Across Georgia. An
effort of the Georgia Partnershp for Excellence in Education (GPEE),
the program provides an opportunity for these leaders to
experience a day in the life of some of Georgia's top
performing schools. Principal Lisa Hogan, her administrative
team and a group of student guides welcomed the bus riders,
providing a tour of classrooms and hosting a group discussion
about LaBelle's programs. Located just off Windy Hill Rd. in
Marietta, LaBelle is one of only 15 schools to make the
itinerary from a pool of 119 throughout Georgia.
