INFORMATION
EARLY REGISTRATION: APRIL 19 - MAY 14, 2010
AT LOCAL SCHOOLS
IN THE GUIDANCE OFFICE
LATE REGISTRATION : Wednesday, June 2, 2010
AT LOCAL SCHOOLS @ 8AM - 12PM
Applications
for registration are available in the local school's
guidance office.
Registration does not guarantee placement in any
particular class, a particular period or a particular site.
Students may request a transfer to the
other site if a course does not “make” at one site but
“makes” at the other site or request a refund.
Students
not enrolled in a Cobb County Public School by April 19,
2010 PLEASE CALL OAKWOOD HIGH SCHOOL FOR INSTRUCTIONS
(678-594-8240).
Cobb County Public School students will be given priority, and, if space is available, non-Cobb County students will
be given consideration. In addition to the tuition, a
non-refundable administrative fee of $25.00 will be charged
to all students who are NOT enrolled or attending a Cobb
County Board of Education school by April 19, 2010.
SUMMER SCHOOL
CLASS TUITION:
A. Cobb County BOE Student: ½
credit $300.00
1 credit $600.00
B. Non COBB COUNTY BOE
Student: ½ credit $325.00 1 credit $625.00
Payment during early
registration in April - May, must be in the form of, cash, a cashier’s
check or money order payable to the
LOCAL SCHOOL.
During the late registration period only cash, a cashier's checks
or a money orders payable to COBB COUNTY SUMMER SCHOOL
will be acceptable for payment of tuition.
PARTIAL PAYMENT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
REFUND POLICY
All refunds must be requested on the official form no later
than . Request forms will be available in the home school's
guidance office and at the summer school sites. No refunds
will be made after June 9, 2010; because a student fails a
class, is in danger of failing a class, is withdrawn
because of attendance, or is withdrawn due to a violation of
the District's Student Code of Conduct.
ATTENDANCE
Attendance is required at summer school. Only in the most
extreme circumstances should a student be absent. Upon the third
absence, a student will be withdrawn from class(es) without a
refund. DO NOT PLAN TRIPS,
VACATIONS, OR APPOINTMENTS that will
interfere with class attendance.
