Schools will be closed Monday, December 11, 2017

All Cobb County Schools will be closed Monday, December 11, for both students and staff, due to continued power outages at multiple schools and poor travel conditions on secondary roads in the northern part of the county.

Osborne Good News

Cobb County AVTF Competition
Each year the Cobb County AVTF department has a film festival where all ATVF students across the county create a five minute short film in nine days. Each film must include the following:
Character:  Ryan Miller
Prop:  a toothbrush
Line:  “It’s not as easy as it looks.”
This year there were 18 submissions for the novice category and Osborne won second place. Please congratulate the following students when you see them: Veronica Alford, Karen Feregrino, Fabien Munive, Jimmy Phan and Jhalen Calhoun
.

Osborne JROTC Raiders
The Osborne JROTC Raiders Teams represented Osborne in an outstanding manner in the National Championships. The male team placed 4th and the female team placed 6th. The female team is also State Champions and the male team placed 3rd in the State Competition.


 

 

 

 

 

 

 



Wrestler Chance Jones placed 6th in sectionals and will be competing in the State Tournament February 11-13. Best of luck, Chance!

We are pleased to announce that our own Trevor Hague has made it to the state-level interview in engineering for the Governor’s Honors program. Trevor will be competing for a place in this program against the top students in the state of Georgia. Good luck, Trevor!


The Cobb County art exhibit is up and running at The Mable House.  It includes a lot of Osborne HS ceramic artwork and other art from Ms. Grenleski's class.
