Dress Code

All students of the Cobb County School District are required to observe a standard of grooming and dress consistent with the level of formality of the school situation. Administrators and teachers shall enforce the dress code.

Note: It has been well documented that dress has an impact on behavior. Therefore, the administration reserves the right to make judgments in individual cases regarding inappropriate appearances and any behavior that would be disruptive to the orderly operation of the school (i.e. face painting, dyed hair that is not a natural color [blue, green, purple, bright red, etc.], unusual hair styles, spiked or Mohawk hair, face piercing, including but not limited to nose rings, lip rings, and tongue piercing).
