CLIMB Our Mountain Reading Challenge

The media center has started a reading challenge beginning November 4 and ending December 12. We are asking the students to read 500 minutes over this 6 week period. View the video below to see what happens when we reach our goal! Students must document their minutes in Biblionasium. See Mrs. Harris in the media center if you need help.

Information and Technology Resources
The Media Center is the hub for information and technology services at Pine Mountain Middle School. We are happy to provide a variety of resources (including books, magazines, and computers) for students and staff to use in their academic and leisure pursuits. Students are now able to access their work easily with their Office 365 accounts. No more flash drives are needed if students create and save in O365! Get more information about O365 from the Instructional Technology departments website.

Check Out Policy
Students may check out two books for three weeks, with the option of renewing if more time is needed. Students may renew books in their Destiny account or come to the media center with the book to renew it in person. If a book is not returned on time, we do not charge fines, but we do require the return of overdue materials before anything else is borrowed. If a book is lost or damaged, we must charge the replacement cost of a "library bound" copy of the book. Replacement costs can be found on Destiny. Reference books may be checked out once for a maximum of 5 days.

The media staff is often asked for suggestions/recommendations for a "good" book or for help finding the next book in a series. We would like to offer the following websites to aid in your search:
What comes next in the series?

What should I read next?
