Pitner Administration

Ms. Sherri Hill, Principal
Mrs. Hill
has been at Pitner since its doors opened in 2003. She came to the school as
the Instructional Lead Teacher, moved into an Assistant Principal position
and was named principal in 2008. She began her teaching career in 1993
teaching a 9th grade class in the suburbs of St. Louis, Missouri,
her hometown. Then she spent the next four years in the Washington, D.C.
area where she taught grades 4-6, served as a Curriculum Specialist and
Staff Development trainer. Mrs. Hill received her undergraduate degree in
Elementary Education from Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN; her
Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Coppin State College in
Baltimore, MD; and her Specialist degree in Administration and Supervision
from Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, TN. She has been married to
her college sweetheart, Rod, since 1997 and they have 3 daughters, Sheridan,
Brooklyn and Jillian.

Ms. Debbie Blake, Assistant Principal
Mrs. Blake is Proud to be a Pitner
Patriot! This is her fourth year at Pitner and she is honored to
work on such a dedicated staff at the best elementary school around! In her
17 years as an educator, Mrs. Blake's experiences include being an
elementary teacher, working as an Instructional Lead Teacher and working as
a Technology Integration Specialist. Mrs. Blake received a B.S. in
Elementary Education from Wayne State University in Detroit, and M.A and
Ed.S. degrees in Early Childhood Education from Georgia State University.
Mrs. Blake loves spending time with her family and friends and away from
work you will usually find her running around with, reading with, and
playing with her precious three year old daughter. Mrs. Blake also enjoys
reading, playing tennis, traveling and watching movies.

Dr. Ramonia Cooper, Assistant Principal
Dr. Cooper enjoys being an administrator at Pitner! She
has been in education for 20 years. Currently, she lives in
East Cobb and has been a resident for over 13 years. She has 12
years experience as an administrator. Prior to becoming an
administrator, she taught 1st, 2nd, 4th, and multi-aged students
in grades 1-2. She also has 5 years of experience teaching on
the university level. Dr. Cooper received her doctoral and
specialist degrees in Educational Leadership K-12 at Argosy
University. She began working on her Masters degree at Georgia
Southern University and completed the requirements for this
degree at Fort Valley State College. She earned her Bachelors
degree from Georgia Southern University. Dr. Cooper comes from
a family of educators, both teachers and administrators. Some
of her hobbies include reading, traveling, learning to cook, and
spending time with her family. She feels honored and proud to
be a Pitner Patriot!
