Dr. Hosey

 Dr. Ashley Hosey, Principal

I was born and raised in Rockmart Ga. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia in Athens, received a Master’s degree from the State University of West Georgia and a Doctorate degree from the University of Alabama.

I have been in the field of education for 20 years serving in the Marietta City School system and the Cobb County School District.  I believe that a quality education is the passport to, the key to, and the indicator of success.

My wife and I are parents to 2 wonderful children. We are looking forward to being a part of the Pitner Family.

Mr. Jason Traster, Assistant Principal

I am truly excited about my 2nd year at this amazing school and working with the fantastic teachers, students and parents..  My wife and I have been in education for many years, starting in Florida and then in Georgia for the last 12 years.  We have 3 elementary and middle school aged boys who keep us very busy.  I look forward to upholding the well-known traditions and high standards that Pitner has created.

Mrs. Nicole Bristow, Assistant Principal

Hello, Pitner Community!

I grew up in the small beachside community of Venice, Florida.  I came up to Georgia for college and have been here since.  My husband also works for Cobb County Schools.   We have two children:  our daughter is currently a junior at the University of North Carolina-Asheville and our son is a senior in high school in Cobb. I am very excited about the opportunity to become part of the Pitner Patriot family.  I have been a part of the Cobb County School District for the past 20 years.   I have served as a teacher, an Education Program Specialist and Assistant Principal.  I am looking forward to getting involved and working with the Pitner students, staff and families.

Mrs. Jane Griffeth, Support and Services Administrator

I am thrilled to be at Pitner serving as your SSA – Support and Services Administrator.  I have been serving students in Special Education for 8 years within Cobb County schools.  I have a passion for special education and I strongly believe that every student can learn.  I am so excited about this opportunity to work with students, teachers, and parents at Pitner!  I have two children of my own that attend Cobb County Schools in 7th and 9th grades.   I treasure my role as a parent and we stay busy as a family with sporting activities and trips to the beach and lake in the summer.  I also enjoy exercise of all types and reading a variety of books.  I can’t wait to see the successes of all students at Pitner this year.
