Georgia Parent Survey

The Georgia Parent Survey is also modeled after the student survey and contains 24 questions. Parents may complete the survey using their personal computer, smartphone or tablet. All parents should be encouraged to participate in the Georgia Parent Survey because the data will be used as part of the calculation of the School Climate Star Rating. Survey responses are anonymous and will be submitted directly to the Georgia Department of Education for analysis. The Georgia Parent Survey is also available in Spanish. Parents may select the Spanish version within the survey. Results from the Georgia Parent Survey will not be available to the public and will not be posted online. The Georgia Parent Survey link is posted below.

Pope Drama's Haunted Theater

Your journey begins when you meet Marie, a little girl whose guests often suffer unlucky accidents while visiting her home.  Her mother’s strict rules limit Marie’s ability to have friends over, but Marie tests those boundaries by inviting them anyway… even though misfortune always follows.

In Marie’s house you will meet many different fiendish- er, I mean, friendly dolls - ranging from dolls that feature in real world hauntings to recognizable characters featured in modern day stories and films.

Pope Theater invites you to join Marie as she takes you through her dollhouse. Join us on October 25-26 and October 28-29 from 6:00-10:00pm to take a journey into the world of dolls. Bring a friend... heck, bring two.  It will increase your odds of surviv- sorry, I mean, increase your enjoyment of the night immeasurably.

Happy Hauntings!

Student Health Survey

The Georgia Student Health Survey 2.0 is an anonymous, statewide survey instrument that identifies school climate issues that impact student achievement. In order to provide a safe and supportive learning environment for your child, the Georgia Department of Education collects survey information from students during the school year. The survey takes approximately 20 minutes to complete and covers various topics such as school climate and safety, alcohol and drug use and mental health. All student survey data is anonymous and self-reported.  The Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment (PPRA) gives you the right to opt your child out of participating in the survey. If you do not wish for your child to participate in the Georgia Student Health Survey 2.0, please print, sign and return the attached form to your student’s science teacher by October 18, 2017.  If you would like to examine the survey, please come by the school between October 4, 2017 and October 18, 2017 and we will be happy to provide you with a copy for your review.
