Pope's Advanced Placement Program
AP Test Day Info

WHERE WILL THE TESTS BE GIVEN?  The testing location will be in the gym or another room at Pope.  We tested in the gym last year and it went very well.  All students are expected to be at the testing area at the given time (7:30am/Noon).  Some tests with few students will be given in a different location.  No one will be allowed to start testing late.  Please see the back of this sheet for more information.

WHAT IF I REGISTERED TO TAKE A TEST, AND NOW CHANGED MY MIND?  If you change your mind, YOU WILL FORFEIT the fee you paid.

WHERE DO I GO IF I HAVE ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS?  Ask your AP teacher.  If it is something your AP teacher cannot answer, please see Mrs. Robinson (Room 107) or Mrs. Clune (Front Office).

HOW DO I RECEIVE MY EXAM RESULTS?  In July 2015, all AP score results for students will be delivered online.  You must have a College Board account in order to have access to your scores.  If you do not have account, sign up at apscore.org.

ARE THERE ANY SPECIAL THINGS THAT I CAN DO TO MAKE THE TESTING GO MORE SMOOTHLY? You bet!  Students should:

 ·         Report to the testing area no later than 15 minutes prior to test time (7:30am/Noon). The schedules are set based on the assumption that everyone is where they are supposed to be at the time they are supposed to be there.

·         Bring a picture ID!!!!!

·         Pay careful attention to directions on the registration form and directions given by the test administrators.  They must make a formal report of any case involving students not following procedures.  (Using an unapproved device, working on the wrong section of the test, etc.)

·         Remember that all talking is forbidden during the test.  If an administrator sees a student talking during the test, he/she must report it.  Do not put yourself at risk for having your score canceled.

·         Do not bring inappropriate items to testing site.  Leave phones, i-pods, etc. at home!  There is also absolutely no food or drinks allowed in the testing site – this includes water!  We will provide a snack and water during the break.

·         Backpacks, bags and purses are not allowed in the testing site – please leave all items at home!

·         Make sure you get a good night’s sleep and eat a healthy meal!

·         Please make sure you use the restroom prior to entering the testing site!

·         If you plan on checking out of school after your AP exam, you must have turned in your attendance note to PPO.  If you need another note, please go to Pope’s website.
