GA Tech Visit:

On November 2nd, six students from the Georgia Tech College of Engineering Champions Program visited our fifth grade classes.  The CoE Champions are an elite group of students from all backgrounds, cultures, and engineering majors who are passionate about giving back to the community and being ambassadors on behalf of the Georgia Tech College of Engineering. Their purpose for visiting our students was to build interest and exposure to a variety of engineering fields.  They talked about the various engineering disciplines and shared their experiences as students interested in engineering. They engaged our students in hands-on activities designed to pique their interest in math, science, and problem-solving as future engineers. The visit was a great success and enjoyed by all.
