Kindergarten students visit the Library frequently for book exchange and storytimes.  Sope Creek Elementary participates in the Georgia Book Award program every year, and very often the students will hear stories from the nominee list.

Research & Library Skills

During the course of the year Kindergarten students learn about the parts of a book, the information contained on the Title Page, proper care of books and expectations of behavior in the Library.
