On behalf of the administration,
teachers, and staff, I would like to welcome you to
Pope
High School and the
2008-09 school year. I hope that this letter finds you in good health
and well rested.
As you prepare yourself for this school
year, I would ask you to reflect on the great traditions and successes
that those before you have left behind. Pope High School and its community are time and time again
considered one of the best in all of Georgia. Students that have walked
the halls throughout its history have excelled academically and been
accepted to the top universities in the nation. Athletes have won state
championships and have gone on to play at the collegiate level. Students
in the arts have established themselves as some of the best in the state
and continued their excellence at higher levels. In all, they have set a
standard of excellence!
This year marks a new tradition of
excellence. The 2008-09 school year is your chance to leave footprints
for others to follow. Pope
High School’s faculty and staff are
dedicated to providing you with a variety of experiences that will help
you find your passion and to lay a foundation for a successful future.
