News and Announcements:

The Fire Marshall is actively monitoring our Fire Lane and enforcing the law!  Violating the policy could result in a ticket with a fine of $135.00.
Per the Fire Marshall's Office, no one is allowed to park in a Fire Lane, whether there is a driver in the vehicle or not, at any time other than the followng:
(1) 30 minutes prior to the end of the school day and 30 minutes after the end of the school day (this does NOT include the After School Program or any other activity at the school)
(2)  Passengers actively loading and unloading during the day (this would cover students unloading in the morning at the beginning of the school day - NOT ASP or any other activity at the school).

Upcoming Events:

StevieB's Night has been moved to May 15th.  Please not the change in date.

Start turning in your library books.  All books are due back by May 11th. 

Last day of school for students is Thursday, May 24th. 

Don't forget that we dismiss two hours early (12:20 p.m.) the last two days of school.

Car Rider Morning Drop Off Information

Students may enter thebuilding at 7:15 a.m. If you arrive a little early, please wait in your car or in the covered area near the front doors.  Our small buses drop-off at the front entrance.  Please do not block them and kindly move if requested to do so by the bus driver.

School starts at 7:50 a.m.  This means students are normally considered tardy if they are not in class by the time morning announcements begin.  If you are late, you need to park and sign-in your child at the front desk.

Driving Directions! Our New Entrance...

Left turns will no longer be allowed into or out of the Hayes Elementary School driveway closest to Stilesboro Road. This driveway has been changed to right in/right out only for safety and operational improvements.

Left turns into and out of Hayes Elementary School have been rerouted to what was the buses only driveway. This driveway has been improved to safely accommodate mixed traffic (buses and cars).
