Cherokee and Creek Indians

Cherokee Creek
The Cherokee lived in Tennessee and the Appalachian Mountains. The Creek lived in central Georgia and Alabama.
Cherokee houses were windowless log cabins roofed with bark. It had one door and a smoke-hole in the roof. The Creek lived in a  rectangular house roofed with grass or bark. Walls were made from poles and covered with mud.
Cherokee made deerskin shirts, dresses, leggings, and breechcloths. Women sometimes wore wraparound skirts of woven cloth made of plant fibers. Turkey feathers were sewed onto netting to make robes. Creek wore little clothing, and many decorated their bodies with tattoos and body painting. Creek men shaved their heads almost completely, leaving only a small tuft of hair on top.
The Cherokee grew corn, beans, and squash. They hunted deer, bear, and elk for their meat. The Creek grew corn, beans, and squash. They hunted deer and fished.
