Mrs. Jenifer Womack has been elected Davis Elementary' Teacher of the Year for the 2008-2009 school year! Mrs. Womack is the Kindergarten EIP teacher and is beginning her 9th year at Davis. She absolutely loves the little ones and they love her! She teaches phonics and reading to every kindergartener in a small group setting and loves getting to know and work with each child individually. She says that "there is nothing in the world as inspiring as a child who loves to learn."
Mrs. Womack has a daughter, Rachel, who is a freshman at Lassiter High School. She also has 3 grown step-children and 2 9 year old grandsons. Her husband, Harry, is a home builder and real estate agent in the Roswell/Marietta area. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and loves BIG ORANGE football!!
Mrs. Womack's favorite thing is the beach and everything related to the beach,, as is evident by her year round tan. She spends the month of July in Ponce Inlet, Florida every year at her "home away from home" condo by the sea.
