“Dreams and wishes, wishes and dreams.  Sometimes they work, and sometimes they don’t.  You never know how they’ll turn out in the end.”

After reading Jubal’s Wish by Audrey Wood, discuss wishes that you need money to buy and wishes that don’t require money.

Jubal’s wish is for his friends to be happy.

Have each student draw a star (or you can die-cut a star to pass out) and write their wish on it.   Students can share them and sort them by cost.

You can also have older kids make an origami frog that hops around. Click here for instructions.
