• The Media Center is open from 7:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Students may check out books prior to announcements in the morning, but must first check-in with their teacher and obtain a media center pass. Students may return through-out the day to check out books with their teachers permission.

• Kindergarten students may check out 1 book. Students in grades one through five may check out 2 books. All books and magazines can be checked out for 2 weeks. Books may be renewed if there is not a reserve placed on the title.

• Students may place a reserve on any book title. The reserved book will be held for the student once it is returned. A note will be placed in the teachers box notifying the teacher that the student has a book being held.

• Overdue notices are distributed to the teachers on a weekly basis. Students should make every effort to return media materials on time.

• Students are responsible for paying for books that are lost or damaged beyond use. A lost or damaged bill will be printed and sent home with the student. Please see Ms. Robinson if there are any extenuating circumstances.
