Meetings: 1. The Hillgrove Math Team will meet twice a month to prepare for the county math competitions. 2. The meeting times will be the 2nd Thursday of each month from 3:30 - 4:15 and the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 7:30 - 8:10 with the exception of September. 3. Our first meetings will be on Tuesday, September 11th from 7:30 - 8:10 and Thursday, September 13th from 3:30 - 4:15 in Room 1203. If possible, plan to attend both meetings in September. Required: You must attend at least 5 out of the 14 meetings throughout the year in order to letter in math. Competitions: 1. There will be 4 county math competitions that start promptly at 6:00pm and end at approximately 8:30. • Monday, September 17th at Hillgrove • Monday, November 12th at Osborne • Monday, February 11th at Marietta High School • Monday, March 31st at Harrison 2. The first competition will be right here at HILLGROVE! (Please mark you calendars for Monday, September 17th). Required: You must attend at least 2 out of the 4 competitions to letter in math. Service Projects: 1. We will be involved in 2 service projects. 2. Our service projects will involve beautifying the already lovely campus we enjoy here at Hillgrove. Required: You must participate in at least one of the service projects to letter in math.
