Soulinda, TaTyana, and Deanna


Kell High School DECA students visited Nicholson Elementary each Thursday for two months. These students taught a Junior Achievement course of titled “Dollars and Sense”. All ASP 3rd-5th graders at Nicholson Elementary School were encouraged to participate.

For 6 weeks, we taught the kids a lot about being smart consumers and becoming entrepreneurs through several games and other activities.

We enjoyed teaching the kids new skills about being SMART consumers.

Scott C. received a 6th place medal at DECA State in Marketing and Business Foundations
 

Emily L., Emily C and Lauren M. competed at DECA State in the Advertising Campaign Event.   These girls developed a written manual and sales presentation for the Victoria Secret product line “Pink”.
