Improvement Plan For the past several years, McEachern
has utilized an acronym to keep our mission at the forefront of our
improvement efforts and key decisions. The "PART" acronym provided a
clever way to highlight several key beliefs. This year, dialogue has
been initiated with the full faculty, department chairs, and school planning council to simplify and focus our mission
statement to clearly define the fundamental purpose of our school. Our
mission is to instill "high levels of learning for all." Each year the
same process will be used to ensure a representative viewpoint and to
keep our mission aligned with our fundamental purpose. Our
Beliefs:
- We believe in maintaining and supporting high expectations for all
students.
- We believe a safe and attractive environment promotes effective
teaching and learning.
- We are willing to examine all practices in our school and their
effect on learning.
- We believe that the success of our students hinges on our ability
to communicate and collaborate effectively as a professional learning
community.
- We believe that family involvement is an integral part of the
academic and social development of our students.
