The staff of Lovinggood Middle School is dedicated to promoting an environment that fosters an alliance among staff, students, parents, and community. Each one of us is committed to educating and encouraging intellectually reflective adolescents en route to a lifetime of meaningful work.
Beliefs that guide us:
All students must be given the opportunity to develop their individual gifts.
Schools must set high academic and social expectations.
Schools must have challenging learning environments which provide strategies and skills to develop independent thinking and lifelong learning.
Teachers must be knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and passionate about their subject matter and student achievement.
Schools must provide an emotionally and physically safe environment for all students to achieve their maximum potential.
Parents, teachers, and students must work together to
reinforce a positive climate.

You Can Help!!!
What is the "Fuel Up To Play Program"? LMS was asked last Spring through CCSD Food Services to work with the Southeast Dairy Association and NFL to promote healthy eating, drinking milk, and exercision 60 minutes per day to our students. The individual students can win prizes and LMS can win grant money and prizes.
HOW DO THE STUDENTS PARTICIPATE ? Simple! It only takes a couple of minutes. Students log onto www.fueluptoplay60.com. Students can do this during homeroom, in the media center, or from home.
1st Time: Click on the "registration" tab to create a user name and password
Every time after that: Yes!!!-Daily would be great! Students log on and click on the "Track" tab. They put in their foods and excercise minutes to accumulate points FOR US ALL. Students get extra points with Pop-Up quizzes and games when time allows.
Prize Possibilities: For Students: NFL mercandise, i-pods, t-shirts, etc. Top prize: star in a national commercial with an NFL player.
For Schools: Grant money to use for the school, merchandise for incentives, Falcons players and cheerleaders at an LMS rally. Top prize: cafe and gym makeovers.
Let's all use this great opportunity to bring LMS together for a great cause!
