The Marietta/Cobb Driver’s Education Program is a joint program of the Marietta and Cobb County School Systems. This program is licensed by the Georgia Department of Driver Services and includes 30 hours of classroom and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction. Behind-the-wheel instruction is individual instruction in a specially equipped car. This program meets the requirements for Joshua’s Law, and qualifies for the Teen Driver’s Education insurance discount.

Students must have a valid Georgia permit or license before they begin the six-hour behind-the-wheel portion of the course, but they can enroll in the classroom portion before they have a permit.

The cost of the program for the 2007-2008 school year is $350.00

The course is offered at multiple schools throughout the county. To register for the course, please visit the Marietta/Cobb Driver's Education Website listed at the bottom of the page.
