Atlanta Food Festival is scheduled for July 5-6 at Jim R.
Miller Park in Marietta. Sponsored by Inside Out Center,
Inc., it helps provide services to low to moderate income
families, providing backpacks and school supplies to

Are you interested in being a substitute
The School District will host TWO
Substitute Job Fairs on Tuesday
4/22/14 from 9:00 am
until 11:00 am. For applicants interested in substituting
for the North Area Schools (North of Powder Springs
including North Marietta, East Cobb, Kennesaw and Acworth) the
job fair will be held at Piedmont Baptist Church located
at 570 Piedmont Road, Marietta, 30066. For applicants
interested in substituting for the South Area Schools
(Includes Smyrna, Powder Springs, Austell, and Mableton—South
Marietta area), the job fair will be held at Skyview
Elementary School located at 5805 Dunn Road,
Mableton, 30126. To attend applicants must complete the
1-RSVP by sending an email to

fair and this should be the geographic area you plan to

Please know all
Teasley students were safe during this CODE YELLOW alert.
Code YELLOW is a
heightened security alert, requiring that all exterior doors are
locked and no staff or students are outside of the building.
At 12:15 p.m. the Cobb County School District Department of
Public Safety asked the main campus of Teasley Elementary to
initiate a CODE YELLOW alert as a precaution to ensure the
safety of our staff and students.
This alert was established as a result of Cobb County
Police activity in the area.
At approximately 12:45 p.m. the CODE YELLOW alert was
lifted and normal activity resumed again at school.

County School District is again offering School Choice (HB 251
and SB10) transfers for the 2014-2015 school year.

FOUND!! As of Wednesday, Dec. 11th, all remaining items will be
donated to a local charity. LOST & FOUND is on the stage at
Teasley Elementary and in the cafeteria at Teasley Primary!! If
you would please LABEL all sweaters, sweatshirts and coats that

PTA & Kindergarten Performance
The PTA Meeting and Kindergarten performance will be on Tuesday,
December 10th at 6:30 p.m. at Teasley Primary School. We
look forward to seeing you all there and enjoying a wonderful
performance by our Kindergarten students.

Open House Dates
Open House will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a general PTA
meeting in the Cafeteria. Classroom sessions will follow.
There will be two sessions each night in case you have students
in both grade levels. Open House will be held on the
following dates and times:
- 2nd & 5th Grades - Sept. 9th at 6:30 p.m. at Teasley

New Student Registration
New student registration will be held on Thursday, July 25th, from 9:00 a.m - 6:00 p.m. All registration will be done at the main Teasley
