Red Ribbon Week!
October 27-31
Monday: Wear red to show your promise to live a healthy lifestyle!
Tuesday: United against drugs and bullying, wear your Teasley Tiger spirit wear!
Wednesday: Team up against drugs, wear your favorite team or club shirt!
Thursday: "I'm a jean-ius! I don't bully others." Wear your jeans and a uniform shirt to show that smart kids don't bully others!
Friday: Don't let unhealthy choices get you down.  Bring $1 to dress down and support our PAWS foundation!

Join our Teasley community in supporting breast cancer awareness by wearing pink on Friday, October 17. 

Conference Week

Conference week is next week (Oct. 20-24)!  School will be dismissed 2 hours early at each campus.  ASP will be available.

The SPARK 25 Day Challenge
at Teasley Primary

Teasley Primary is registered for the SPARK 25 Day Challenge!  The goal of the SPARK Challenge is to promote daily physical activity - at least 60 minutes of physical activity each day, at least 5 days a week!

Prizes are awarded to schools based on the percentage of participation in the school, and include financial support for professional develoment, and curriculum and equipment purchases.

Participation: In order to participate, students must download the pledge form and tracking log, and track their physical activity for 25 days (with parent help!).  The challenge has started and will end October 31st!!! 

Campbell Middle School Tours

Meet Campbell Middle School's new principal, Jonathan Tanner, and learn about the International Baccalaureate Curriculum offered to all students!  Tours will start at 10:00 a.m. in the Parent Resource Center.

Tour Dates: October 7, November 11, December 2, January 6, February 3, March 3, April 14, and May 5

Screen on the Green is September 26!

Join us for Screen on the Green featuring The LEGO Movie, hosted at Teasley Primary School on Friday, September 26.
Gates will open at 7:30 p.m.

ASP Enrichment Open House

Boy Scouts

Join the scouting adventure with Pack 1 this year as they discover hidden treasures on local hikes, explore nature's beauty while camping under the stars, and give back to the community during service projects. 

An informational meeting will be held Wednesday, August 20th at 7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria at Teasley's main campus located on Spring Hill Road.

Our 5th grade students will be selling baked goods and refreshments during each open house.

Target (Gifted) Open House & Eligibility

Second Grade Target Open House: Monday, August 11th at 5:45 p.m. in the main campus media center

Bus Routes & Information

Kindergarten and First Grade students (along with their parents) are invited to ride the bus on Friday morning, August 1, 2014, as a practice run prior to the first day of school on Monday, August 4. Buses will run at regular scheduled morning pick up times and parents/students should be at the bus stop at least 5 minutes early.  Due to limited space, we ask that you limit the number of additional family members riding.  Only school-age children are allowed to ride as our regular buses are not equipped with car seats. The bus will follow the planned route to school, then return back to the bus stop.

 

During the months of August and September if temperatures reach 90 degrees or higher students may bring water in containers with a screw on lid to drink on the bus.

*All students 8 years old and under will receive a yellow tag. It is attached to the bookbag on the left side and is left blank. It helps identity the students who are required to have parent/guardian meet them at the stop after school, or the student will be returned to the school. Please do not remove the yellow tag unless student turns 9, then return it to the driver.

New Student Registration

New student registration will be from 9:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 17th at the main campus. Visit http://www.cobbk12.org/aboutccsd/enrollment/ for details about the required documentation needed to enroll your student.  All required documents, including address verification, must be submitted at the time of registration.

 - Kindergarten & SNPK - 9:00 - 10:15 a.m.
 - 1st Grade - 10:15 - 11:30 a.m.
 - 2nd Grade - 12:30 - 1:30 p.m.

Teasley Returns 170 lbs. of Candy!!

Teasley Student Council returned 170 lbs. of Halloween Candy collected by our students for Operation Gratitude in our partnership with A + Pediatric Dentistry in Vinings.  Thank you all for being so generous!!
