Counseling Department is available to assist students
and parents in making educational and personal decisions.
Students should feel free to drop by the Counseling
Office during their lunch periods or before school
to schedule an appointment or to use the educational
materials available in the Counseling Office. The
Wheeler Counselors provide the following services:
enroll new students, advise students concerning
course selections, provide confidential counseling
for personal problems, process transcript requests,
coordinate school-wide testing, provide information
on college admissions and scholarships, and assist
students with completing college applications.
Throughout the school year, counselors arrange
meeting times with students and/or parents to
discuss academic status, graduation evaluations,
and college/career exploration. At other times,
students are welcome to schedule an appointment
with their counselor, except in crisis situations.
Students may call or email their counselor to
schedule an appointment. Students must have permission
from the teacher before leaving the classroom.
Registration is always by
8:00 am - 4:00 pm
of New Students
