Frey Elementary School
opened its doors in 1996 in response to continued growth in northern Cobb
County. Aside from modern, multipurpose classrooms, the school features
a gymnasium, cafeteria, separate art and music classrooms, a computerized
media center, and state-of-the-art computer lab. Frey serves students in kindergarten through grade five.
The school is named
after John Steve Frey, Jr., a local citizen who made significant contributions
to the development of Cobb County. Among his many accomplishments, Mr.
Frey served as a board member for Cobb County Schools and was committed
to quality education for all children.
