KATHY COX VISITS KEMP
Georgia Superintendent of Schools Kathy Cox arrived at Kemp Elementary on Monday October 29th via helicopter and led the students and staff in a pep rally.

Kemp SIP Goals 2007-2008

Students will continue to improve, extend, and refine writing skills through content writing assignments.
Students will improve math skills in the areas of math computation and problem solving.
The staff will collaborate to implement Learning Focused Strategies.

CALENDAR OF EVENTS-MAY 2008

Thank you to Paige Bastuba, Laura Fieldler and Adam Hill for all of the hard work, extra time and skills to coach the Kemp Odyssey of the Mind Team at state competition last weekend. The students did an outstanding performance.

The graduating 5th Grade class has chosen its representatives to compete in the long awaited and highly anticipated STOMP project at Kemp Elementary. There will be two shows, 8:20 and 9:10. Parents are welcome to join us in this celebration to highlight 5th grade talent and skill. This will be held in the cafeteria.
