Norton Park Elementary School strives to provide excellence in learning, a safe supportive environment, and promotes respect for all.  Our environment empowers students to become productive members of society.
 

Norton Park Elementary School is located in Smyrna, Georgia, in a suburban community just outside of Atlanta. Our school was built in 1962 and has been added to many times.  Our current enrollment is 748 students kindergarten through fifth grade.  We currently have 73 certified teachers and 40 classified staff members. 

To help us meet the needs of our students we follow the Georgia's Choice School Design.  We have used this design since 2002, and we are pleased with the academic growth amongst our students. 
 

Goal #1- Student will demonstrate proficiency in reading comprehension.

Goal #2 -Instructional decisions shall be based on performance data and shall be used to drive instruction.
 

After School Program (ASP) - Supervised after school activities for a minimal prepaid daily fee.

Helping One Student To Succeed (HOSTS) - After school tutorial program offered to all students.

Saturday School - Enrichment program offered two to three times a year for a period of six weeks.

Summer Program - Enrichment program offered during the summer for a period of 3 to 4 weeks.
