Mr. Doug Daugherty, Principal

Mr. Doug Daugherty has 11 years of experience in the field of education.  He taught 2 years in the private sector and has been in the public school system for 9 years.  During his career has touched the lives of children in Michigan, as well as, Georgia.  Currently, he is pursuing a Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership.  His hobbies include tennis and golf.  Mr. Daugherty loves working with children, and adults that have a passion for working with children.  Norton Park is excited to start a new school year with such an innovative principal.

Mr. Jimmy Bullard, Assistant Principal

Mr. Jimmy Bullard has a total of 35 years of teaching and administrative experience.  His experience spans across four different states, which include Iowa, Alabama, Texas, and Georgia.  He has taught all grade levels of regular and special education classes, with the exception of kindergarten.  His experience also includes instructing on the college level.  Mr. Bullard has been in the Cobb County School System since 1994.  Norton Park has been privileged to have him as one of our assistant principal for the past 9 years.

Mrs. Jenkins has been in the field of education for 29 years. This is her 18th year with the Cobb county schools. Mrs. Jenkins was a special education teacher for 19 years. She taught in Philadelphia for 5 years before moving to Georgia in 1984. She has been an assistant principal for 10 years. Mrs. Jenkins’s favorite part of being an assistant principal is working with children.
