Field Trips
The students at Sedalia Park enjoy a full year of field
trips. Almost every month of the year grade levels take a trip
to provide a hands-on, enriching experience to enhance their
curriculum. Students must receive permission from parents to
participate in a field trip three full school days prior to the
outing. We also often ask for parent chaperones to help monitor
students. Let your child’s teacher know if you are interested in
chaperoning, as it is an experience you won’t want to miss!
School -Wide Field Trip
More fun than we can handle!
A
great Park tradition that is a special treat for all is the annual
school-wide field trip. In the past we have made trips to Olympic
Park, Fox Theater, Barnum and Bailey Circus, Disney on Ice and
Monster's Inc. This is a
day that both parents and students enjoy.
Kindergarten Field Trips
They go on trips to Zoo Atlanta, The Atlanta Children’s Museum, The
Center for Puppetry Arts, Cagle’s Dairy, the bank, and they even go to
Wheeler High School to see performances of their favorite children’s
stories.
