Welcome to Sky View Elementary School! We have an exciting learning environment of which you and your student can become an active members. Every student at Sky View is expected to be responsible for their learning and character. Each year we invite our students to read one million words, a sure way to make academic progress. Students have one hour daily in each subject, reading, writing, and math. For the majority of that hour the student is responsible for his or her own work and thinking. We stress building character as we work on academics. Throughout the day the students will make many choices. If all their choices center around reflecting respect for the school, themselves and others, they will be model school members. Our school is open for you to volunteer and there are many opportunities for you to become involved via PTA. Please join us on this journey as we prepare each and every student for the exciting adventure called life! As a faculty we pledge to you adequate planning and preparation to meet your student's needs.
