Together, Let Us Dare to Care

By Dr. Norman H. Thomas

Together, let us dare to care,

For we all have knowledge and wisdom to share,

Let educating children be our major concern,

And do all we can to help them learn.

We must have teamwork and cooperation.

For together, we can save the children of our nation.

What is PTA?

PTA is the oldest and largest volunteer child advocacy organization in the United States. Since its founding, the National PTA and it's state branches, districts, councils, and local units have played an integral role in establishing, maintaining and safeguarding programs and policies that promote the health, safety, nutrition, welfare, protection and education of children.

Sope Creek's PTA has over 40 committees that work diligently all year long to provide programs and opportunities for you, your child and our school. Please see your Sope Creek calendar for the PTA 2007-2008 budget and a listing of all these committees and chairpersons. Please call any officer listed above if you would like to volunteer your time or talent.
