The After
School Program is available from 2:30-6:00 PM for those students, grades K- 5,
who attend Vaughan Elementary and are registered in the program. (You
may request a registration form at Sneak-A-Peek or from the office.)
Please
remember to be prepared to show identification when you pick your child up
from the After School Program.
REGISTRATION FEE ESTABLISHED
An annual registration fee of
$10 per child has been established. This fee is necessary to fund the initial
start-up costs each year, such as forms and supplies. The fee is effective
starting for the 2004-2005 school year and must be collected at the time the parent
registers the child.
The schools should only register
students that will be attending the After School Program. There can be no more
global registration of all students in the school. This will reduce the
program’s costs significantly in the time and supplies required to register
students who never attend the program.
DAILY FEE
The After
School Program is a "Pre-Pay" program of $7 per day/per child.
A late charge of $1 per minute/per child will be charged if your child is not
picked up by 6:00 PM. Your child will be withdrawn from the program
after the third late pick up, per Cobb County School District ASP program
rules.
This fee ensures that After School Programs continue to be self supporting,
operate efficiently and provides required teacher to student ratios and
enrichment activities. The daily tuition pays for all staffing needs, snacks,
enrichment activities and supplies for the After School Programs.
Taxpayer
revenues do not fund this program.

sheet you signed when you registered your child for ASP.
