Science comes alive at
Vaughan Elementary!
We have a fully equipped science
lab, which is generously supported
by the PTSA. Advanced facilities like ours are rarely found in elementary
schools.
Students participate in hands-on
science activities conducted by
their own classroom "science" volunteer on topics directly
related to their curriculum. These include experiments in electricity, magnetism,
physical and chemical properties, ecology, light, sand, geology, and scientific
measurement.
Students follow the
"Scientific Method" as they approach each investigative activity.
