Wellness Walk/ Make-a-Wish Foundation 5K

The 2nd annual Cobb Walk for Wellness took place on Saturday, October 13, 2007, at 7:30 AM in the Marietta Square.  At the conclusion of the Walk, there was a Health Fair on the Square until 3:00 PM.  This was a fun community effort, and the goal of this wellness walk was to promote lifelong wellness and fitness for everyone.  By participating in the Wellness Walk, members of the Cobb County community became better informed about overall wellness and gained an awareness of the resources available to improve their personal health.  This event supported the school systems wellness programs for students and staff.
