Vaughan 2006-2007 Spelling Bee

The spelling bee began with the winners and alternates from the 4^th and 5^th grade classes.  It ended with the crowning of Lizze Cannon in Mrs. Sieracki’s classroom the winner.  In a close step behind her was Mitchell Barnes, the alternate, from Mrs. Bahr’s classroom.  Lizze and Mitchell went back and forth for several rounds before a winner was declared.  These two students move on to the county spelling bee which will be held February 3rd at the Turner Chapel AME Church of Marietta starting at 9am in the recreation center.  The directions are 545 Hyde Drive, Marietta, Georgia 30060.  (770)422-6791.
