Ms. Dawn Robinson...................First, Third and Fourth Grade

Mr. Steve Otten.....................Kindergarten, Second, and Fifth Grade

Counseling services are provided to all students that attend Argyle Elementary School.  School counselors work to help students remove barriers to learning by assisting them students with their academic, social, and emotional needs. 

Our counselors:

-teach classroom guidance lessons to enhance student’s academic, social, and emotion well-being

-provide small group counseling services

-provide individual counseling services

-helps student develop their social skills

-help students express their emotions

-listen when students who need to talk

-encourage students to set goals

-provide opportunities for students to have a sense of belonging at our school

-help parents find resources in the community

 

If you need to see a counselor you can……….

-Ask your teacher if you can go to the counselor’s office

-Have your parent or guardian contact your teacher or counselor

-Complete a counseling referral note and leave it in your grade level counselor’s box
